City council in Oskaloosa increases cyber liability coverage from $250,000 to $1,000,000.
“‘One of the most valuable items this service provides is immediate access to forensic experts who can take over with the first phone call, providing staff guidance on what to do, what not to do and to assist in the recovery of lost data and systems,’ (Margaret Ratcliff, of Ratcliff & Blake Insurance Professionals) told the council.
This latest increase in coverage follows an incremental process over the past two years. Last year the city’s cyber liability coverage was increased from $50,000 to $250,000. Costs for this service will increase from $2,201 in 2021 to $12,900.”
