Tokio Marine Kiln (TMK) has named Ben Sitki as an underwriter on its Cyber Reinsurance Solutions team, effective immediately. This appointment supports TMK’s continued growth in cyber reinsurance after launching its cyber treaty offering in November. Sitki will report to Cesar Silvestre, Head of Cyber Reinsurance Solutions.
“We’re delighted to welcome Ben to the team. His extensive cyber experience, and proven ability to build client relationships and develop new markets, makes him an excellent addition as we continue to grow our cyber reinsurance capabilities,” said Cesar Silvestre, Head of Cyber Reinsurance Solutions at TMK
STRATEGIC CONTEXT
TMK is expanding its underwriting capacity as more clients seek cyber risk transfer worldwide. The company recently launched TMK Cyber Ctrl and Enterprise Ctrl to address complex cyber risks. Adding Sitki will help strengthen both treaty and facultative cyber reinsurance programs.
EXECUTIVE BACKGROUND
Sitki has almost 20 years of experience in insurance and reinsurance, with a strong focus on cyber solutions for clients in the Middle East and Africa. He comes to TMK from Guy Carpenter, where he was Senior Vice President, and has also worked at Willis Re and Canopius. TMK believes his regional and technical expertise will help drive international growth in cyber liability insurance solutions.
