Cyber Insurance and Security Jobs

The number of jobs in the cyber insurance and cybersecurity field has been rising rapidly over the past 10 years. This demand is due to a number of factors. First, the increasing sophistication of cyberattacks. Second, the growing awareness of the importance of cybersecurity. Lastly, the increasing amount of data that is stored and processed online.

According to a report by Cybersecurity Ventures, the global demand for cybersecurity professionals is expected to grow by 350% from 2013 to 2025. This means that there will be an estimated 3.5 million unfilled cybersecurity jobs by 2025. With those vacancies in mind consider the the rising cost of damages resulting from cybercrime. It is expected to reach $10.5 trillion by 2025.

The growth of the cyber insurance market is also contributing to the rise in jobs in this field. Cyber insurance can help businesses to protect themselves from the financial losses that can result from a cyberattack. As more businesses purchase cyber insurance, the demand for cyber insurance professionals will also increase.
