Cyber Risk

Stellar Cyber has released an upgraded MITRE ATT&CK Coverage Analyzer. The advanced threat detection tool now allows organizations to quantify detection posture and optimize cyber risk for insurance purposes. Jeff Hill, Global Senior Director at Stellar Cyber, stated, “Risk managers, enterprise security leaders, and insurers need modern tools to understand how technology decisions impact cyber defense posture and insurability.”

The new Coverage Analyzer delivers real-time mapping of detection across all data sources. It provides percent-based scoring on tactics and techniques, allowing teams to simulate architectural changes before investing in telemetry.

Optimized Threat Detection for Insurance Needs

With this release, Stellar Cyber’s RiskShield Program uses Coverage Analyzer as a core assessment engine for cyber insurers. Insurers can now evaluate client readiness with precise metrics.

“RiskShield provides the missing bridge between security posture and insurability,” said Stellar Cyber CTO Aimei Wei. “We deliver real, measurable data—enabling insurers to assess risk and help clients reduce premiums through proactive improvements.”
