SentinelOne announced the SentinelOne Risk Assurance Initiative, a new cybersecurity program designed to help insurers improve their clients’ network security using the SentinelOne Singularity™ Platform. This program allows insurers to offer SentinelOne’s platform at preferred rates, aiming to stop attacks before they occur and reduce both financial loss and insurance premiums.
Leading carriers and providers, including AXA XL, Coalition, Travelers, At-Bay, CFC, and Hanover, are already using SentinelOne’s capabilities to strengthen client security and prevent ransomware attacks. John Roberts, General Manager of Security at Coalition, noted that SentinelOne’s managed detection and response technology allows Coalition to offer favorable insurance pricing to clients. “When a client is managed with SentinelOne, we know they have strong protection against sophisticated cyber-attacks,” Roberts said.
The Singularity Platform consistently ranks highly in the MITRE Engenuity ATT&CK Evaluations and has earned the title of Leader in the Gartner Magic Quadrant for Endpoint Protection Platforms for three consecutive years. Customers have also rated it highly in the 2024 Gartner Peer Insights™ Voice of the Customer report, with a 95% recommendation rate.
Roger Francis, CEO of CFC Response, stated that SentinelOne aligns with CFC’s mission to enhance client safety, providing comprehensive protection to SMB clients. Thom Dekens, Chief Business Officer and GM of At-Bay Security mentioned that the Singularity Platform helps customers reduce breach risks and improve their cybersecurity posture.
“Insurance Posture Report”
The SentinelOne Risk Assurance Initiative promotes a holistic approach to risk mitigation, offering services that enhance resilience across clients’ cybersecurity profiles. This includes the Insurance Posture Report, which maps key telemetry signals to the CIS18 standard, enabling insurers to validate risk profiles efficiently. Mark Camillo, CEO of CyberAcuView, said, “The Insurance Posture Report, coupled with the Singularity Warranty, can enhance the underwriting process and provide additional confidence to clients, especially in the SMB sector.”
To further ensure peace of mind, SentinelOne supports its technology with a $1 million Breach Response Warranty, providing financial relief in worst-case scenarios. Dara Gibson, Senior Cyber Insurance Manager at Optiv, highlighted SentinelOne’s role in their services, stating, “With SentinelOne as part of our Incident Response and Managed Services portfolio, we can offer our insurance partners proactive resolution combined with long-term monitoring.”
Barnaby Page, Vice President of Incident Response and Cyber Risk at SentinelOne, expressed gratitude for insurers’ trust in their cybersecurity technology, emphasizing the collaborative effort to prevent losses and business interruptions. “SentinelOne is honored to have the confidence and trust of so many thoughtful insurance practitioners,” Page said.
