Proactive Cyber Risk Mitigation

Resilience, CrowdStrike, and AWS unveiled a strategic collaboration designed to help enterprises actively mitigate cyber risk and improve cyber insurance terms. The Resilience Threatonomics Platform now ingests telemetry from CrowdStrike Falcon® and AWS Security Hub. It quantifies financial impact and detects misconfiguration risks. The platform delivers prioritized, financially sound mitigation strategies against cybersecurity threats like ransomware and business interruption.

Clear Risk Quantification

Resilience adds a new executive reporting layer. It translates technical metrics into “broader business terms” and insights. These reports help boards and oversight committees understand risk and justify cybersecurity investments.

Streamlined Insurance and Coverage Terms

The partnership supports improved cyber insurance terms and conditions. “Customers can better understand potential cyber risk, then quantify and communicate that risk and finally transfer that risk via cyber insurance,” said Tim Riley, SVP of Business Development at Resilience. Qualifying customers gain access to enhanced insurance terms backed by A-rated carriers in the US, UK, and EU. Insurance renewals can be expedited with validated metrics on attack surface reduction and lateral movement prevention.

Deeper Integration of Core Technologies

Resilience’s work builds on existing integrations:

  • The Falcon platform data is already linked to Resilience analytics. These integrations show “the lowest rate of claims with incurred losses.”
  • AWS recognizes Resilience with its Cyber Insurance Competency.
  • CrowdStrike earned the AWS Security Incident Response Ready specialization.

Tom Etheridge, Chief Global Services Officer at CrowdStrike, stated: “Customers can translate technical data into measurable business value.” Ryan Orsi, Global Head of Cloud Foundation Partners at AWS, added that this solution helps “validate their configurations, prioritize investments based on business impact, and streamline their approach to cyber insurance.”
