In much the same way that physical security depends on controlling access points like doors and gates, Liongard’s latest innovations in Cyber Asset Discovery provide a cyber counterpart for Managed Service Providers (MSPs). The company’s newly announced Cyber Asset Discovery and Inventory feature, set to launch in Q4 2024, enables MSPs to consolidate and manage digital “access points,” such as user identities, devices, and services, ensuring comprehensive visibility and enhanced security. Automating digital access points helps prevent cyberattacks, just as locks and surveillance prevent physical intrusions.
Liongard is also introducing Cyber Asset Discovery which automates the creation of technical documentation and integrates with IT Glue. By eliminating manual data entry, MSPs can enhance accuracy, save time, and improve workflow efficiency.
“These innovations simplify asset management and help MSPs deliver more secure, efficient, and profitable services to their clients,” said Joe Alapat, Liongard’s Founder and Chief Product Officer. “By automating the discovery and classification of user accounts, we’re helping service providers stay ahead of managing their clients’ attack surface and meeting critical security standards.”
The new tools are part of Liongard’s effort to assist MSPs in managing increasingly complex IT environments and improving their cyber resilience. Both features will be available by the end of the year, with a beta program already underway.
