Liberty Mutual Insurance Global Risk Solutions has expanded its cyber liability insurance team by appointing Elisabeth Case as Global Product Manager, Cyber. In her new role, Case will oversee cyber products and underwriting strategies worldwide. She reports to Matthew Hogg, Global Product Leader, Cyber.
This marks the latest addition to Liberty Mutual’s Global Cyber team. Launched in February 2023 with key appointments, including Hogg and Dan Frusciano as North American Head of Cyber Underwriting. Patrick Thielen joined as Global Head of Cyber later.
Hogg emphasized Case’s cyber leadership and expertise, deeming her the ideal candidate for the crucial role. “Elisabeth’s strong cyber leadership and expertise make her the ideal candidate for this critical role,” said Hogg. Case’s responsibility involves integrating Liberty Mutual’s cyber liability insurance product, underwriting, and rating approaches into a cohesive global framework, aiding companies in comprehending, mitigating, and managing evolving cyber risks.
Before joining Liberty Mutual, Case served as Managing Director in Marsh’s U.S. and Canada Cyber Practice for over 16 years. Her extensive career experience spans underwriting and leadership roles in Chubb, St Paul, The Hartford, and CNA.
“Robust Experience”
Thielen praised the complementarity of Hogg and Case, stating that together, they form a well-rounded cyber product leadership duo. “Together, Matt and Elisabeth provide Liberty Mutual with an incredibly well-rounded cyber product leadership duo,” said Thielen. “Elisabeth’s robust experience solving the needs of some of the largest and most complex cyber risks in the world on the broker side — combined with Matt’s extensive experience as an innovator and thought leader within the London cyber market on the carrier side — ensure that a well-balanced set of perspectives and experiences inform our strategies, underwriting and products going forward.”
