Tech-Driven Cyber Risk Coverage
K2 Cyber offers what it calls “Intelligent Cyber Insurance,” a tech-based coverage approach integrating AI, threat intelligence, and automated risk assessments. The company says its product uses continuous risk monitoring and adaptive underwriting to stay current with evolving cyber threats.

Bob Kimmel, CEO and co-founder of K2 Insurance Services, said, “We are thrilled about the launch of K2 Cyber, our first division focused exclusively on Cyber Insurance. The founding team at K2 Cyber brings a wealth of experience and a strong track record in Cyber Insurance and small business products.”
Led by Industry Veterans
The division is led by Keith Moore, who previously founded CyberPolicy and CoverHound. He is joined by Meghan Hannes, formerly of Beazley, and Raymond Lynch, previously at Liberty Mutual. “Our team’s successful history in SMB cyber liability insurance and credible industry partnerships allow us to deliver fast, accurate and reliable solutions,” said Moore.
Support from Parent Company
K2 Cyber is the first cyber-specific division under parent company K2 Insurance Services. CEO Bob Kimmel said the new MGA strengthens the firm’s position in the SMB cyber insurance space.
