Inscora, a Montreal-based startup specializing in automated cyber risk assessment and sales enablement for cyber insurance brokers, has secured $2 million in funding. The investment round was spearheaded by Luge Capital, with contributions from Desjardins Capital, Accelia Capital, Inovia Capital, and prominent angel investors from the cybersecurity sector.
Co-founded by cybersecurity veterans Gabriel Tremblay, Pierre-David Oriol, and Guillaume Raymond, Inscora aims to transform the cyber insurance landscape. Previously a co-founder of Delve Labs (acquired by Secureworks), Tremblay now serves as Inscora’s CEO. Oriol, former VP of Product at Delve Labs, and Raymond, ex-Director of Engineering at Dialogue (acquired by Sunlife), bring extensive industry experience to the startup.
Inscora’s platform provides insurance brokers with a next-generation approach to cyber brokerage. It allows brokers to assess a company’s cyber risk posture, guide clients in adopting cybersecurity best practices, and expedite the cyber insurance application process. This solution enhances customer value, offers better risk-adjusted premiums, and boosts sales conversion rates.
