Healthcare Cybersecurity Expands Into Dental Care

CISO Global is partnering with TeleDental.com and DentalChat.com to offer advanced healthcare cybersecurity protection to dental clinics across the country. With this agreement, CyberSimple, powered by CHECKLIGHT, will launch as a cybersecurity and financial protection platform designed to improve healthcare data protection. The service will reach more than 358 clinics nationwide through the TeleDental and DentalChat platforms.

“This partnership reinforces our commitment to protecting dental practices and their patient data as we lead the next generation of connected, secure dental care,” said Dr. Ed Said, CEO of Teledental.com and DentalChat.com.

Targeting an Underserved Cybersecurity Market

There are about 190,000 dental practices in the U.S., and many have limited IT resources. This leaves patient health data at risk from cybercriminals.

CISO Global estimates that the dental cybersecurity market is worth $350 million each year, based on five protected endpoints per practice. This partnership offers a scalable way to reach a market that is currently fragmented.

“Dental clinics handle highly sensitive data but often lack the resources to defend against modern cyber threats,” said Rob Hegedus, CHECKLIGHT® Program Manager at CISO Global.

Financial Protection and Compliance Support

CyberSimple®, powered by CHECKLIGHT®, offers up to $1.5 million in financial protection. The platform also helps with ransomware defense, breach response, and ongoing monitoring.

Digital Dentistry Increases Cyber Risk

Virtual dental care is growing quickly. Online consultations and digital records increase the risk of cyberattacks and complicate healthcare data protection. Many dental clinics now face greater threats because they do not have dedicated medical cybersecurity teams.
