Guardz Raises $18 million A-Round to Turn MSPs into Cyber Insurers

There are plenty of tech companies that provide cybersecurity platforms to MSPs and a number of cyber liability insurance providers who work with MSPs. Guardz is combing the two services.

“Guardz’s comprehensive cybersecurity protection enables MSPs to offer their clients cyber insurance, which was previously inaccessible due to a lack of cybersecurity controls, generating an additional MSP revenue stream and further protecting their customers’ business interests,” reports the release.

The approach has won the company an $18 million A-Round led by Glilot+, the early stage fund of Glilot Capital Partners, joined by new investor ClearSky and existing investors Hanaco VenturesiAngels, and GKFF Ventures. [Hanaco also joined last year’s A-Round for cyber insurtech Sataya.]

Launched in 2022, Guardz says it’s already partnered with hundreds of MSPs, reaching thousands of end-users in the US and Europe.
