Generali Global Corporate & Commercial (GC&C) has named Michela Moro as its new Head of Cyber Insurance, effective December 16. Moro succeeds Massimo Orsini, who recently retired from the role.
With over 15 years of insurance industry experience, Moro brings a wealth of expertise in corporate and commercial client strategies. She has a proven track record in shaping cyber portfolio strategies and identifying growth opportunities across international markets.
Carlos Gomez, GC&C Head of Insurance, praised Moro’s appointment, stating, “Her deep underwriting knowledge in financial lines and the Cyber sector, combined with her strategic thinking, will bring great value to GC&C.”
Before joining Generali, Moro held senior positions, including Regional Head of Cyber at Allianz Commercial. She holds a bachelor’s degree in International Economics and Management from Università Bocconi di Milano.
Moro is set to play a key role in enhancing GC&C’s cyber insurance offerings, aligning with clients’ evolving needs in an increasingly digital world.
