DUAL Europe strengthens Cyber insurance operations with new appointments and a streamlined regional structure across Europe. The company announced leadership changes to reinforce its presence in a rapidly growing cyber market.
Strategic Appointments Announced
DUAL Europe named Marek Stanislawski as Head of Business Development, Cyber Europe, effective 3 September. Based in Stockholm, Stanislawski will focus on client offerings and broker relationships.
“We are at an exciting stage where technological advances are challenging the traditional risk-transfer model, while increased capital is intensifying competition,” said Stanislawski.
From 1 October, Erika Chemello will lead Southern Europe, while Johan Hedenstedt takes charge of Northern Europe. Chemello’s remit covers Italy and Iberia, while Hedenstedt oversees the Nordics, Ireland, and Benelux. Both roles align with DUAL’s push to combine regional focus with cross-border collaboration.
Regional Structure Realigned
The new structure creates stronger alignment between Northern and Southern Europe. It ensures clients benefit from localized expertise supported by broader European coordination. Germany, Austria, Switzerland, and France remain under DUAL’s established cyber framework, ensuring continuity.
“By connecting Northern and Southern Europe more closely, we can share insights, accelerate innovation, and deliver more consistent and effective solutions to our clients,” said Chemello and Hedenstedt in a joint statement.
Ali Khodabakhsh, Head of Cyber Europe, said the appointments strengthen the company’s ability to deliver integrated solutions across markets. He emphasized DUAL’s goal of becoming a pan-European leader in cyber insurance.
“I’m proud to see our team expanding in both scope and strength,” said Khodabakhsh.
Expanding Cyber Capabilities
These leadership moves come as demand for cyber insurance grows. Businesses across Europe are seeking tailored protection against evolving cyber threats and digital risks. DUAL Europe’s expanded structure positions the company to deliver consistent coverage and innovation at scale.
By combining expertise across regions, DUAL aims to accelerate product development and reinforce its long-term cyber strategy.
