SonicWall expanded its cybersecurity platform with nine Generation 8 firewalls. The lineup targets MSPs, MSSPs, and mid-market customers. Every model supports cloud-based Unified Management and embedded Zero Trust Network Access.

“Our new firewall lineup is just one part of a broader, unified platform strategy. With SonicWall Unified Management, embedded ZTNA, the SonicSentry managed services team, and the industry’s first built-in cyber warranty, we’re helping partners shift from resellers to high-value security providers,” said Bob VanKirk, President and CEO of SonicWall.

Platform overview

SonicWall positions the release as a unified, MSP-ready stack. The platform blends hardware, software, and co-managed services. It emphasizes predictable billing and centralized control for network security.

Key features

Unified Management provides a single console for policies, access, and accounts. Built-in ZTNA enables secure remote access with embedded licenses. The SonicSentry team offers co-managed monitoring, patching, and monthly reporting. SonicWall includes an embedded $200,000 cyber warranty with managed firewalls.

Models and services

The eight named models span compact to high throughput. They range from the TZ280 to the NSa 5800. All models ship with SonicOS updates and cloud-native management. Partners can attach MPSS for co-managed operations. APSS supports self-managed deployments with the same threat services.

“Today’s MSPs and MSSPs need more than just great technology, they need support scaling their business,” said Jason Carter, Chief Revenue Officer at SonicWall.
