Quotey, the multi-insurer commercial lines quoting and cover comparison tool in Canada, has expanded its marketplace to include CFC’s Cyber insurance product. CFC, a global specialist insurance provider and leader in cyber risk, will now offer instant cyber insurance quotes through Quotey.
Canadian brokers using Quotey can access CFC’s quotes for over a thousand specific industries with just a few questions. CFC’s coverage includes proactive cyber-attack prevention, cyber claims, and incident response services. This collaboration aims to simplify obtaining cyber insurance quotes and enhance overall client protection.
Quotey’s CEO and Co-Founder, Nick Kidd, expressed excitement about the partnership, highlighting CFC’s leadership in cyber insurance. Kidd emphasized the significance of making this product more accessible and understandable for Canadian brokers, contributing to better client protection. “In my experience, Cyber insurance is an extremely important yet highly misunderstood product in Canada,” said Kidd.
“Joint Commitment”
Laura Martin, CFC Cyber Development Manager in Canada, shared Kidd’s enthusiasm for the collaboration. Martin stated, “This partnership shows our joint commitment to increasing cyber adoption in the Canadian market, and providing SMBs access to our award-winning cyber solution that starts working the moment a policy binds.”.
Quotey, launched last year in all provinces except Quebec, is Canada’s first multi-insurer commercial lines quoting tool. The access costs $10 per month per user. The platform allows brokers to complete a single digital application for over 700 business classes. It then provides instant comparable quotes from participating insurers like CFC.
The expansion of Quotey’s marketplace to include CFC’s Cyber insurance product marks a significant step forward in streamlining the quoting process and fostering its adoption in the Canadian market.
