CyberCube Raises $180M from Spectrum Equity to Expand Cyber Risk Analytics

Major Investment Secures Growth Path

CyberCube has secured over $180 million in funding from Spectrum Equity, pending regulatory approval. Spectrum joins ForgePoint Capital, Hudson Structured Capital Management, and MTech Capital as investors. The funding strengthens CyberCube’s role as a cornerstone analytics provider for the cyber insurance sector. CyberCube serves more than 130 clients, including 75% of the top U.S. and European cyber insurers. Its tools also support most of the top 20 global brokers. The company’s products help insurers manage cyber risk, optimize portfolios, and make data-driven decisions.

Strategic Expansion and Leadership Change

CyberCube will use the investment to expand its global reach and further develop its cyber risk analytics platform. CEO Pascal Millaire said, “With the additional capital from Spectrum Equity, CyberCube is even better positioned to deliver the analytic tools our insurance clients need to sustainably grow into the 2030s.”

CyberCube also appointed Scott G. Stephenson, former CEO of Verisk, as Chair of its Board. Stephenson noted, “I am confident in the long-term growth of the cyber insurance sector and recognize in CyberCube’s mission the need for robust analytics tools to support this growth.”

Product Innovations Drive Adoption

CyberCube’s software-as-a-service platform continues to evolve. Recent launches include Exposure Manager, a tool for portfolio-level risk assessment, and Version 6.0 of Portfolio Manager, which enhances catastrophe modeling with new risk modifiers. The company also integrates AI-driven insights to quantify risk more effectively.
