R.E. Chaix & Associates Insurance Brokers, based in Irvine, has acquired US Pro Insurance Services. This move broadens R.E. Chaix’s reach in specialty lines and gives them access to more carriers. US Pro focuses on placing cyber liability insurance for retail agents and brokers. The merged company will operate as R.E. Chaix & Associates, and all US Pro employees will become part of the R.E. Chaix team.

Deal Adds Cyber Insurance Production And Risk Support
R.E. Chaix said the acquisition will improve underwriting and distribution for complex cyber accounts. US Pro adds 18 years of experience in cyber insurance and risk mitigation. The company also helps retail partners with education and product knowledge. Both firms said they will continue to focus on serving agents’ needs.

Kevin Sneed, CEO and President of US Pro, said that working with more carriers will give clients more options.
