Cyber Insurance Expansion Across Europe
RiskPoint Group will acquire Corvus Underwriting GmbH, based in Frankfurt, from Travelers. The deal will be effective on September 1, 2025. The acquisition strengthens their position in the cyber insurance market across Germany and the broader European region. The deal enhances an already strong relationship with Travelers.

Travelers Europe CEO Matthew Wilson, “We are pleased that RiskPoint Germany will be acquiring the Corvus cyber insurance operations in Frankfurt and that Travelers will partner with RiskPoint to provide cyber capacity in Germany and across Europe.”
RiskPoint Scales Cyber Capabilities in DACH Region (Germany, Austria, and Switzerland)
Kenneth Nielsen, Group CEO at RiskPoint, said, “I’m thrilled to announce that we are broadening our cyber insurance solutions in the DACH region by integrating Corvus Underwriting GmbH, with its service-minded and experienced team of experts, into our Cyber team.” The deal integrates Corvus’ cyber team into RiskPoint’s German operations. The integration will support their full-scale rollout of cyber insurance Germany.
Growing Cyber Expertise in Germany
RiskPoint began writing cyber policies in Denmark in 2017. The firm now expands that experience to serve intermediaries and policyholders in Germany. In the last 12 months, both Coalition and Resilience have also expanded their offerings in the German market. In their announcement about new operations, Joshua Motta, CEO and co-founder of Coalition, said, “German businesses often face cyber-attacks, requiring significant recovery resources. Active Cyber Insurance helps businesses defend against these threats.”
