Cowbell Introduces COMPaaS for SOC 2 Compliance
Cowbell today unveiled COMPaaS, a Compliance‑as‑a‑Service offering. This new service guides startups, growth‑stage firms, and service providers toward SOC 2 readiness. It supports both U.S. and global regulatory environments. The platform includes gap analysis, risk assessments, penetration testing, policy drafting, audit prep, live support, and access to a GRC platform. These tools aim to improve cyber resilience and streamline compliance.
“Compliance-as-a-Service is the natural next step. As SOC 2 compliance becomes increasingly critical for startups and global enterprises alike, our partnership with Accorian enables us to deliver a streamlined, high-touch compliance journey,” said Rajeev Gupta, Co-founder and CPO of Cowbell.
Accorian Powers the New Compliance Suite
Built in partnership with Accorian, COMPaaS leverages a team of over 175 cybersecurity experts. Accorian holds certifications including HITRUST auditor, SOC assessor, PCI QSA, PCI ASV, and CREST accreditation. Their global presence spans the U.S., Canada, and India. The alliance enhances Cowbell’s capacity to deliver expert‑led compliance services.

New DFIR Leadership Boosts Incident Readiness
To reinforce its Resiliency Services, Cowbell has appointed Joe Hoosech as Principal of Digital Forensics & Incident Response (DFIR). Mr. Hoosech brings deep experience in cybersecurity, with a focus on ransomware negotiation and business email compromise cases. He will drive faster incident response, more streamlined claims handling, and stronger outcomes for clients and agency partners.
“Joe brings a wealth of cybersecurity and ransomware negotiation experience to Cowbell, which will significantly elevate the support we offer to policyholders navigating BEC and ransomware incidents,” said Matthieu Chan Tsin, SVP & Head of Cybersecurity Services, CRS at Cowbell.
Strategic Growth in Cyber Resilience
Cowbell launched its Resiliency Services line (CRS) in February 2025. The addition of COMPaaS and DFIR leadership reflects a strategic move to bolster subscription‑based security solutions. These enhancements aim to provide policyholders with higher confidence in their cyber defenses and faster recovery capabilities.
