Expanded Warranty Boosts Cyber Protection Capabilities
CISO Global (NASDAQ: CISO) has increased the financial protection offered through its CHECKLIGHT® software. The warranty now covers up to $1 million per incident, with a $1.5 million annual cap per customer. This marks a fourfold increase from the prior $250,000 cap. The expansion, announced on May 29, 2025, will incur no additional costs for existing clients. The company aims to broaden its reach to organizations seeking higher financial assurance in cybersecurity.

New Market Access and Delivery via Insurance Network
This enhanced offering positions CHECKLIGHT to address an estimated $11 billion cybersecurity market. According to CISO Global, the new warranty terms align with the needs of larger organizations previously underserved by current offerings.
CISO Global is working with Cyber Assurance Group (CAGI) to launch CyberSimple™, a bundled cybersecurity and warranty service. It will roll out through a network of 17 insurance agencies.
Dave Bechtel, a co-founder of CAGI, emphasized the benefit to small businesses, “CyberSimple™ brings together CISO Global’s cutting-edge cybersecurity service with substantial financial protection in one bundle. Enrollment couldn’t be easier.”
Hegedus Highlights Practical Impact
Rob Hegedus, Program Director at CISO Global, explained the significance, “For nearly five years, CHECKLIGHT® has consistently delivered measurable reductions in cyber-related losses across a wide spectrum of businesses,” he said.
He added, “By expanding the warranty coverage at no extra cost, we are not only enhancing the value proposition for existing clients but also opening new doors to previously underserved market segments that require stronger financial guarantees.”

Implications for Small and Mid-Sized Businesses
The upgrade provides small and mid-sized businesses with access to financial protections typically reserved for enterprise-level clients. There are no sublimits in the $1 million-per-incident coverage, making this particularly valuable to companies with limited risk budgets.
Integration with Over 600 Clients and Partners
Over 600 security clients already use CHECKLIGHT. The new terms will be integrated across the client base and partner offerings, including CAGI’s insurance referral network.
Summary
CISO Global’s move responds to increasing cybersecurity threats and demand for risk-backed assurance. By offering the expanded warranty at no additional cost, the firm is positioning itself as a more attractive provider to small and mid-market businesses.
