Arctic Wolf said Chubb selected it as a preferred Managed Detection and Response provider. The offer targets cyber insurance policyholders with more than 100 employees. The companies said the goal is lower incident frequency and smaller loss impact for each cyber insurance policyholder.
“Being selected by Chubb as a preferred MDR provider is powerful validation of the innovation behind the Arctic Wolf Aurora Platform and the results it delivers,” said Nick Schneider, president and CEO, Arctic Wolf.
Why Chubb chose Arctic Wolf
Arctic Wolf highlighted its Aurora Platform and Managed Detection and Response service. The company said the platform uses open XDR technology and Alpha AI. They process more than nine trillion security events each week and reduce alerts to about one actionable ticket per customer each day.
Operational support and insurance alignment
Arctic Wolf operates security centers in North America, EMEA, and APAC. The company also has an insurance alliance team to support brokers and carriers. Arctic Wolf and Chubb cited research showing that major claims often result from external remote service abuse. The release noted that unsecured RDP access and stolen VPN credentials are top causes of ransomware losses.
“We’re helping businesses proactively defend against threats and gain the confidence that comes from having world-class cyber risk management protection paired with world-class insurance,” added Schneider.
