CFC has named Justin Camara CEO of CFC USA to lead its growth strategy. Camara starts in Q1 2026. The appointment signals a continued focus on expanding CFC’s footprint in the United States insurance market.

Leadership Appointment Supports U.S. Expansion
CFC Group CEO Louise O’Shea said Camara brings deep specialty insurance experience and a record of building businesses. She said his background fits CFC’s entrepreneurial model and long-term U.S. plans. O’Shea added that CFC is committed to strengthening service and expertise for U.S. clients and partners.
“Justin understands our vision and ambition, and I know he will be a driving force for CFC in the US,” said O’Shea.
Camara Brings Nearly 30 Years of Industry Experience
Camara joins CFC with almost 3 decades of experience in the insurance sector. He most recently served as Executive Vice President and Portfolio Director for Financial and Professional Liability at Aspen Insurance Group. In that role, he managed a large specialty insurance portfolio across U.S. and international markets.
His career includes senior underwriting leadership positions at several major insurers. He helped launch Great American’s professional liability division in California. He also led Liberty Mutual’s professional lines expansion on the U.S. West Coast. Camara began his career at AIG in New York.
Aspen has worked with CFC since 2014 and currently supports 17 business lines across CFC’s MGA portfolio.

Focus on Growth and Market Development
Camara said he looks forward to joining CFC and supporting U.S. expansion. He cited the company’s innovation, customer focus, and entrepreneurial culture. He said U.S. growth remains a priority.
“US expansion is a priority for the business over the coming years, and I am looking forward to working alongside Louise and the wider leadership team to achieve CFC USA’s big ambitions together,” said Camara.
Michael Brunero has served as the interim Managing Director of CFC USA since January 2025, following Shannon Groeber’s departure.
