The global insurtech, BOXX Insurance, announced three new appointments to drive its U.S. growth and cyber insurance coverage strategy. The Insurtech company continues to expand its U.S. presence through leadership in distribution, claims, and technology.
Leadership to Strengthen Distribution and Broker Partnerships
Joe Gates joins BOXX as Head of Distribution, Central. He will manage the growing demand for BOXX’s all-in-one cyber insurance and protection products for businesses and homes. Gates brings over two decades of experience from At-Bay, Beazley, and AIG. His focus will be on expanding broker and partner relations to strengthen BOXX’s footprint across the U.S.
Christyn Yoast, President, U.S., said, “Joe’s experience building strong relationships amongst Brokers and Partners will build upon the great response we’ve already had in the market to BOXX’s suite of all-in-one Cyberboxx® products for businesses and homes.”
Enhancing Claims and Cyber Response Capabilities
BOXX also appointed Ray Moylan as Claims Manager. Moylan joins the Global Claims and Hackbusters team to enhance BOXX’s proactive approach to claims for U.S. small and medium-sized enterprises. His background at Marsh and Travelers includes nearly a decade of expertise in cyber, commercial, and property claims.
Driving Technology and Platform Innovation
Thomas Beale joins as Head of Engineering & Architecture to strengthen BOXX’s global technology and API strategy. Based in California, Beale brings experience from Converge Insurance, Guidewire Software, and Corax. He will help expand BOXX’s cyber insurance platform capabilities across North America.
