AXA XL has promoted two key team members within its U.S. Cyber & Technology division. Greg Chambers now leads the company’s Complex Accounts portfolio, while Caitlin Alpern becomes Team Lead in the Large & Complex segment.
Greg Chambers, Caitlin Alpern Take Key Roles at AXA XL Cyber Insurance Division
Chambers will oversee underwriting for complex cyber risks. These include threats tied to large-scale operations, regulatory compliance, digital asset management, and third-party partnerships. With over two decades in the industry and nearly 10 years at AXA XL, he is expected to be a referral point for complex underwriting decisions.

Alpern, who joined AXA XL in 2021, will now lead account management for high-profile clients across the eastern United States. She will also help manage the broader portfolio and represent the company at key industry events. Her prior work has included broker engagement and strategic client support.
Confronting Cyber Threats
Michelle Chia, Head of Cyber & Technology, said the promotions reflect the company’s focus on specialized expertise to meet rising cyber threats. “Their specialized expertise enables us to effectively address the unique cybersecurity risks and challenges faced by many of our clients, ensuring we provide tailored solutions that meet their specific needs in an increasingly sophisticated threat landscape,” said Chia.
