In a strategic move to enhance its cyber risk offerings, Aspen Insurance Holdings has rolled out Aspen Cyber Risk Services (ACRS), a comprehensive suite developed in collaboration with Surefire Cyber. Launched globally on all policies, ACRS aims to empower Aspen insureds to proactively manage and respond to cybersecurity threats.
The suite encompasses a range of services, allowing insureds to assess and prepare for potential cyber incidents while ensuring swift and effective responses when needed. Notably, Aspen’s primary cyber insureds can select one tailored service at no additional cost during each policy period. These services include technical tabletop exercises, ransomware resilience assessments, cybersecurity improvement plans, legal tabletop exercises, and code red alerts.
A key highlight of ACRS is the ransomware resilience assessment, a simulated attack testing network defenses against current tactics used by major ransomware groups. This is followed by a workshop discussing potential compromises and enabling customers to devise effective contingency plans.
Bobby Bianconi, Global Head of Cyber at Aspen Insurance, emphasized the importance of early threat detection and rapid response in the evolving cyber threat landscape. The partnership with Surefire Cyber’s expert team underscores Aspen’s commitment to providing robust cybersecurity solutions.
