Arch Insurance has unveiled its latest strategic move to solidify its position in the European cyber insurance market. The company announced the addition of Sergio Pierro as Senior Cyber Underwriter and Roxanne Deslandes as Cyber Underwriter. These appointments are part of Arch Insurance’s expansion within the European Union.
The new recruits are set to join Arch Insurance (EU) dac. The division specializes in property and casualty insurance solutions within the European Union. Operating out of Paris, Sergio Pierro takes the helm as Senior Cyber Underwriter. Roxanne Deslandes joining him in the role of Cyber Underwriter. Their immediate objectives are to lay the foundation for Arch’s operations in France and to enhance the company’s European cyber insurance portfolio. In this capacity, they will underwrite primary and excess coverage for multinational organizations.
Sergio Pierro brings experience to his new role, having made the transition from AXA XL. There he held the prestigious title of Underwriting Manager for Cyber. His journey in the cyber insurance field began in 2008, when he served as a Cyber and Professional Indemnity Underwriter at XL Catlin.
Roxanne Deslandes arrives from Bessé, where she was a member of the cyber risk advisory team. Her resume spans various facets of cyber expertise, including insurance, broking, and cybersecurity advisory. Her earlier career included stints at renowned companies like Marsh, Airbus, and Thales.

Teaming up with Roxanne to expand our cyber portfolio, their collective expertise and extensive network of broker relationships will be vital as we continue our journey to position Arch as a prominent carrier in Europe.”
This latest announcement follows Arch Insurance’s recent appointments of Jose Carlos Jiménez Fernández and Rafael Ortiz Losada as Senior Cyber Underwriters in Madrid, Spain.
