Accenture, a global professional services company, has acquired MNEMO Mexico, a privately held company specializing in managed cybersecurity services. Financial terms of the acquisition were not disclosed.
MNEMO Mexico was founded in 2012 and has 229 cybersecurity professionals with 180 cybersecurity industry certifications. The company’s portfolio includes advanced cyber defense and response capabilities, a cyber intelligence platform powered by generative AI and other advanced technologies. They also maintain a 24/7/365 security operations center in Mexico City. Its client base spans multiple industries, including telecommunications, banking, and insurance. Accenture expects that the acquisition will facilitate its business growth in Mexico. While also enhancing its presence in Latin America, and bolstering its support for its North American business. Accenture Security will also benefit from MNEMO Mexico’s managed cybersecurity services, extensive industry expertise, and strong client base.

Global MSS Market To Grow
The acquisition comes when the demand for managed security services is growing rapidly.
A recent report by Gartner predicts that the global MSS market will reach $42.8 billion by 2025.
Accenture, a leader in the MSS market, anticipates that the acquisition of MNEMO Mexico will further enhance its position. In April 2023, Gartner® ranked Accenture as the No. 1 company in MSS market share by revenue.
The acquisition is also part of Accenture’s broader strategy to expand its presence in Latin America. In recent years, Accenture has made several acquisitions in the region, including Brazil-based Morphus and Real Protect.
