SecurityScorecard and KPMG in Canada have announced a strategic agreement to enhance cybersecurity for critical sectors. The partnership introduces SecurityScorecard MAX, a Supply Chain Detection & Response (SCDR) solution, as a managed service in Canada.

Enhancing Supply Chain Security
SecurityScorecard MAX focuses on identifying and mitigating cybersecurity risks across vendor networks. KPMG in Canada will leverage its expertise to deliver real-time threat monitoring, incident response, and risk management solutions.
Imraan Bashir, Partner & National Public Sector Cyber Leader at KPMG in Canada, said the partnership enhances efficiency in mitigating cybersecurity threats. By combining KPMG’s public sector expertise with SecurityScorecard’s SCDR technology, the firms aim to improve supply chain security. “This agreement represents a step in strengthening supply chain security,” said Bashir.
Features of SecurityScorecard MAX
SecurityScorecard MAX provides:
- Proactive Threat Detection – Identifies vulnerabilities across the supplier ecosystem.
- Continuous Monitoring – Ensures ongoing visibility into cybersecurity risks.
- Rapid Incident Response – Reduces resolution time for security breaches.
- Vendor Collaboration – Streamlines communication between organizations and suppliers.
President of SecurityScorecard, Sachin Bansal said, “We are pleased to have KPMG join our program. MAX helps customers seamlessly ‘arrive at the airport,’ but we need ‘planes’ to transport customers globally. KPMG has the experience to help us bring actionability and remediation for critical sectors.”
Addressing Supply Chain Cyber Risks
Supply chain cyberattacks have increased, with attackers exploiting weak vendor security. SecurityScorecard MAX aims to strengthen cybersecurity resilience by reducing third-party breaches by up to 75% and cutting incident resolution time by 90%.
