MSIG USA has appointed Siobhan O’Brien as its new head of cyber insurance. She has over 20 years of experience in cyber insurance and professional liability across global markets, O’Brien will spearhead the growth and strategy of MSIG USA’s cyber insurance portfolio.
Peter McKenna, CEO of MSIG USA, emphasized the significance of her appointment. “O’Brien’s expertise will drive our ability to offer innovative solutions for evolving cyber risks,” he stated.
O’Brien previously served as managing director and Cyber Center of Excellence leader at Guy Carpenter, where she advanced international cyber strategies. Before that, she held leadership roles at Marsh UK Limited, including UK cyber placement leader, developing tailored insurance programs for global clients.
Hiro Morimoto, Senior Executive Officer at Mitsui Sumitomo Insurance Co., Ltd, praised O’Brien’s expertise in managing complex global risks.
