Arch Insurance has appointed Ezechiel Symenouh as Senior Cyber Underwriter to expand its European cyber insurance operations. Based in Paris, Symenouh will focus on developing the company’s cyber insurance portfolio across France, Benelux, and the Nordic regions.
Symenouh brings extensive experience to the role. He joins Arch Insurance (EU) dac (AIEU) from Tokio Marine HCC, where he worked as a Cyber Underwriter. Previously, he served as Cyber Risk Practice Leader at WTW France.
European Cyber Risk
Arch’s cyber division provides standalone and combined Cyber & Tech solutions on primary and excess levels. It serves sectors such as manufacturing, retail, and financial institutions. Symenouh’s expertise in European cyber risks and broker relationships positions him to support the company’s growth goals.
Matthew Brophy, Chief Underwriting Officer at AIEU, highlighted Symenouh’s regional knowledge and industry reputation as key assets for Arch’s expansion. “Ezechiel’s appointment demonstrates Arch’s commitment to attracting leading industry talent. Symenouh’s appointment reflects Arch’s strategy to strengthen its cyber insurance capabilities in Europe.
This news follows the recent addition of Rachida Laazaouzi as Senior Casualty Underwriter, also based in Paris. Arch continues to grow its team to meet the rising demand for specialized insurance solutions in key European markets.
