Cowbell, a provider of cyber insurance for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), has appointed Stephen Moss to its Board of Directors. Moss, who serves as Group Head of Financial Lines and Cyber at Zurich Insurance Group, brings nearly 30 years of industry experience. His appointment follows Zurich’s investment in Cowbell’s recent $60 million Series C funding round.

Moss joined Zurich in 2017 and has held various senior positions in the insurance sector, including roles in underwriting and broking. His responsibilities at Zurich include overseeing Professional Indemnity, Directors & Officers (D&O) insurance, Financial Institutions, Mergers & Acquisitions, Cyber, and Legal Indemnities.
Moss expressed his enthusiasm for the new role, stating, “From the beginning, Cowbell has effectively deployed AI and technology to manage and underwrite cyber risk.
