“Cyber Insurance Limits
This news follows a significant announcement from Resilience earlier this month. On July 1, 2024, Resilience doubled its cyber insurance limits to $20 million per client through a partnership with Lloyd’s Insurance Facility. This move aims to enhance the mitigation and transfer of cyber risk for enterprises. The agreement, brokered by Lockton Re, leverages Resilience’s coverholder partnership with Lloyd’s, enabling the company to offer up to $20 million in cyber insurance limits in the US.
Mario Vitale, president of Resilience, emphasized the importance of this expansion. The increased limits will help clients and broker partners build insurance towers more efficiently while delivering crucial loss-prevention solutions. The partnership with Lloyd’s allows Resilience to provide twice the coverage to its clients, supporting large enterprises in managing complex cyber risks effectively.
