Cybersecurity firm BlueVoyant has joined forces with Beeks Group, the prominent cloud computing and analytics provider for global financial markets. BlueVoyant’s award-winning Managed Extended Detection and Response (MXDR) services will enhance Beeks Group’s operational resilience and security, allowing the latter to offer advanced cloud security solutions for the financial sector.
To strengthen its 24×7 Security Operations Center (SOC) and streamline financial services cloud security, Beeks Group opted for BlueVoyant’s expertise. BlueVoyant’s MXDR technology will operate within Beeks Group’s existing Microsoft infrastructure, providing an efficient solution for identifying and remediating cyber threats.
Previously, Beeks managed its SOC internally, dealing with numerous low-value alerts and facing substantial operational overhead. The collaboration with BlueVoyant allows Beeks to focus on critical cybersecurity threats while reducing data ingestion costs. BlueVoyant’s advanced technology and machine learning minimize the number of alerts, simplifying Beeks’s technology stack.
BlueVoyant’s MXDR solutions, recognized by Microsoft, played a crucial role in Beeks’ selection of them as a cybersecurity partner. BlueVoyant’s extensive experience in serving financial services clients and its reputation as Microsoft Security MSSP of the Year in 2023 contribute to the strengthening of Beeks’s cybersecurity infrastructure.
Beeks Group CEO Gordon McArthur emphasized the importance of cybersecurity. “Working with BlueVoyant gives reassurance to our clients that we are offering them industry-leading cyber defence while maintaining their infrastructure and digital ecosystems,” said McArthur.
“Cyber Security Excellence”
The collaboration aims to maximize Beeks’s Microsoft Security investment while maintaining control of their data and platform configuration. Holly Steele, BlueVoyant’s senior vice president for EMEA said, “Beeks Group is an industry-leader in offering cloud solutions for the financial sector. We are honored the Beeks team recognized BlueVoyant’s cyber security excellence and financial services experience.”
This strategic cybersecurity partnership positions Beeks Group to proactively address upcoming regulations, such as the European Union’s Digital Operational Resilience Act (DORA) set to be enforced in January 2025. The collaboration will not only ensure DORA compliance but also enhance the overall cybersecurity maturity of Beeks’s solutions.
Oscar Neill, Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) at Beeks Group, praised BlueVoyant’s solutions for providing full visibility into the security of their cloud infrastructure, reducing alert fatigue, and staying ahead in identifying new threats. “BlueVoyant’s solutions were up and running in less than three months, providing us with full visibility into the security of our cloud infrastructure, vastly reducing alert fatigue with our internal team,” he said.
