Gamze Konyar assumes the mantle of Head of Cyber, Europe at Marsh Specialty, a pivotal move announced by the global insurance broker. Konyar, boasting over 15 years of experience in risk and insurance, is stationed in Berlin. She will answer to Nilay Ozden and Thomas Reagan, the heads of Marsh Specialty, Europe, and Global Cyber Practice, respectively.
This strategic appointment aligns with Marsh’s recent push to fortify its global cyber capabilities. It involves integrating cyber services spanning insurance, risk intelligence, incident management, and cybersecurity. In her role, Konyar leads the evolution of Marsh Specialty’s cyber practice in Europe, steering clients toward enhanced cyber resilience amid transformative shifts.
With over six years dedicated to cyber at Marsh, Konyar boasts a strong track record. She previously led the cyber practice for Central and Eastern Europe and Eastern Mediterranean regions. Her experience extends to leading the Corporate and Sales function for Marsh Cyber Europe.

Nilay Ozden underscores the pivotal role of Konyar’s team in executing global and regional cyber priorities within Marsh’s client-centric approach. “Gamze and the team will have a critical role in executing the global and regional cyber priorities to unlock and create new possibilities for our clients and colleagues,” said Ozden.
