It’s a digital coup d’état as the Cyber & Professional Lines Group (CPLG), part of the Tokio Marine HCC consortium, welcomes Catherine Lyle. Lyle joins as its new maestro of cyber claims and incident response. The stage is set, the spotlight is on, and the cyberworld is her canvas.
Effective September 25, 2023, Ms. Lyle takes the reins as Senior Vice President and Head of Cyber Claims & Incident Response. She will report directly to, Michael Palotay, the President of CPLG.

At Coalition, she was the trailblazer, the first woman to join the organization, and her magic touch transformed the claims team from a solo act into a bustling ensemble of 18. Cyberattack resolution became her forte, and crafting policy wording was her signature spell.
But Catherine Lyle isn’t just a cyber virtuoso. She moonlights as a professor, a published author, and a privacy attorney extraordinaire. Her voice resonates globally as she unravels the enigma of cyber trends, law, and claims. Her influence extends beyond the corporate world, as she played a pivotal role in crafting cyber privacy laws. Most recently, she wowed the audience at the prestigious cybersecurity event, Black Hat USA 2023.
